This is the first hide I've gotten that the butcher has kept the tail on! 99% of the time, butchers cut tails off cus it's easier than skinning the tail.

Some cultures state that to keep the spirit of the animal with the hide, you cannot cut the tail off. I try to keep all tails on the hide for this reason.
